Jeep also caught electric wind: Wrangler Magneto

Traditional car manufacturers electric vehicle its orientation towards production is a rising trend. Giant automobile manufacturers either started to produce electric vehicles or shifted their capacities to this area by making large investments. The american auto giant Jeep will soon join the list of electric vehicle manufacturers. The company announced a new concept design of its electric vehicle that could become a reality in the coming years.

Jeep unveils electric Wrangler Magneto

Concept car named Jeep Wrangler Magneto and a few features have been shared. The overall design of Jeep’s futuristic electric vehicle is mainly based on the 2020 Wrangler Rubicon.


The vehicle, which will have a 285 horsepower electric motor, will be powered by four batteries and an 800-volt system. Jeep did not share clear information about the battery capacity and range of the vehicle, which will have a powerful engine. However, the number and power of the batteries give a clue about the range.

The company also designs multiple transmissions for the vehicle. It is said that Jeep can also produce a six-speed manual transmission, considering customers who admire its four-wheel drive manual transmission.


The company did not share a clear date on when the electric vehicle will be on the market. Electric in development Wrangler Magneto Like Tesla, it has the potential to compete with market leaders appealing to the upper income group.

Jeep’s parent company Fiat Chrysler (new name Stellantis) prefers to take cautious steps towards adopting electric vehicle production, starting with just a few models.
